& founder of the

Fit Together Wellness Studio!

Emily is the founder and owner of Your Wellness Puzzle, LLC where she dedicates time to helping others find the missing pieces of their wellness puzzles with a focus on managing lifestyle changes associated with nutrition, activity, mindset, and support.

A NETA-Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutritional Therapist, AFPA-Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Sports Nutrition Consultant, and Certified Indoor Cycling Instructor, Emily is also the author and creator of the lifestyle guidebook "Eat Right for Life" designed to educate virtual and in-person clients on eating simply and balanced for life while establishing a healthy relationship with food and adopting an active lifestyle.

From Buffalo to Pittsburgh…

After growing up south of Buffalo, NY, and before moving to Beaver, PA with her family in 2015, Emily attended Rochester Institute of Technology in central NY where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology with a minor in Communications. This led to over a decade of experience as an Electrical Engineer at a nuclear power plant outside of Rochester, NY (before a 10 years hiatus from the engineering world to raise her two kids). However, it was her love for playing and coaching sports throughout her school and post-college years that undoubtedly inspired her to change her vocational direction from the field of electricity to one of health-and-wellness.

Love of Sports…

In high school, Emily played soccer and lacrosse, ran track, and coached youth soccer. She played intercollegiate NCAA Division III sports at RIT — one season of women’s soccer and four seasons of women’s lacrosse, serving as the lacrosse team’s captain for two seasons—while still coaching youth soccer in her hometown of West Seneca. An underlying passion for ice hockey prompted her to learn to ice skate after college and she began to play in recreational hockey leagues - a pastime she still enjoys.

She coached youth lacrosse for a recreational league for several years and then became the head coach of the Junior Varsity Girl’s Lacrosse team for five seasons in Webster, NY until 2013. The move to Beaver, PA introduced her to the Bobcat Track & Field and Cross-Country teams, where she was the Middle School Head Coach for several seasons.

Enthusiasm and Perseverance…

Working a high-stress Engineering job, while being diagnosed with Type One (Insulin-Dependent) Diabetes in 2008, taught Emily that balance in health and life is extremely delicate. With years of athletic and coaching experience under her belt, she would go on to acquire multiple certifications in nutrition and training so she could start helping others maintain that health/life balance. Today, after 10+ years living and thriving despite her disease, she continues to run marathons, raise her two awesome kids, work as an electrical engineer, grow her wellness business and show people that anything is possible with the right amount of enthusiasm and perseverance.

Mother of two, runner, sports enthusiast and electrical engineer, Emily is focused on helping to solve your wellness puzzle.
